download full seasons
if there are torrents available with a whole season, ted should be able to grab them

download subtitles when they are avalaible
They are many RSS subtitles' feeds, would it be possible to make TED download them when they are avalaible ? I think they do have the same name format that the shows, so maybe it wouldn't be too hard to do ?

Make a web interface
I know that many people like my self have DVRs or servers at home that have no monitor for an interface. This would be a great way for these people to use TED. I know this would take a lot of work, but I think a lot of people could use it.
Status: startedOur new developer has decoupled some parts of the UI which is a start for implementing this feature. For now it´s planned for v0.98.

Add support for private trackers
Websites like Demonoid.com, Torrentbits.ro, etc... require a username and password.
It would be really helpful if TED supported these sites as the number of people using these sites is rapidly growing.

Have a central, configurable list of RSS feeds to use
When I'm adding a bunch of shows, it is annoying to have to go into each one and edit the feed list for each one.
And if I want to add another site to search from I would have to add it to all my shows individually, which is a huge pain.

Add support for Media Center Vista
It would be great if the TED client could be integrated into Media Center Vista (or XP) as a plugin.

allow users to delay search until 1 day after show airs
I have found that the only thing I find when searching on the day a show airs are fakes. I would like to be able to universally configure ted to wait until Tuesday to check Monday shows, so that I can make sure that the fakes have already been weeded out. utorrent label
It would be very good if TED created a label on each .torrent file so uTorrent places each episode of each different series automatically in a different subdirectory per series.
For example:
CSI\Season 9\CSI.S09E01.avi
CSI\Season 9\CSI.S09E02.avi
Heroes\Season 3\Heroes.S03E01.avietc etc... more

Hide the dock icon
Seeing as ted is one of those apps that run in the background, it would be really nice if I could hide the dock icon. As it stands, I only allow apps that I regularly interact with in my dock. ted is not one of those apps (which is a good thing, as it "just works").

make a calendar for the air dates, seasons, premieres...
Status: startedted 0.95 will have episode airdates built in, used for scheduling your shows.
ted 0.97 (0.96 was a maintenance release) will have some sort of nice display of all this schedule information, apart from the episode list ted now already has in the add show / edit show dialogs -

Quit after checking shows
So that Ted doesn't always sit in memory, please add an option to have it quit after it checks shows. It's easy to automatically launch it using cron (Mac/Linux) or at (Windows).

When entering a custom show, make it easy to submit it to ted instead of requiring the user to go to the forums and request a show

option to download SD when HD not available

It would only apply to your subscribed TV series that are set to "Check" or "Pause" status.

sequential episodes
As of version 0.96 you can select either "daily show" or "season/episode show".
I'm not familiar with java but would it be hard to add a "sequential show" mode?
That is, for anime shows and such which is announced by a sequential number instead of sXXeYY.

Restrict TED downloads to specific time of day
It would be great if you could restrict TED to only request downloads start at specific times of the day. This feature would be great for those that only want high bandwidth usage while they are away. This may however be difficult as TED releases control to the client after the DL starts.

Download NZB files rather than torrents
Use TED to download NZB files based on the same criteria as torrents. So specify which sites to search (free sites such as TVNZB and Newsleecher and also pay sites - would need to store log on details).
This utilises all the great functionality in TED and takes it into the Usenet world.

download show torrents to separate folders
Not the same as the previously closed "Download shows to separate folders" idea, this would just put the particular show torrent in a particular folder. It's up to the torrent client to organise the download location.
Transmission has an option to keep the download in the same folder ... more

check torrent upoader
Check who uploaded the torrent (ie: check that episodes were uploaded by EZTV on mininova). This will illiminate fake downloads.
