Add global filters like quality and release group
    planned

also add a checkbox to the config of each individual show to exclude that show from the global filters

Good suggestion. This feature is planned for ted 0.95 and will include global filtering for size, keywords and seeders. See http://www.ted.nu/bugs/index.php?do=details&task_id=162 to track the progress.

Add support for Media Center Vista

It would be great if the TED client could be integrated into Media Center Vista (or XP) as a plugin.

    Add support for private trackers

Websites like Demonoid.com, Torrentbits.ro, etc... require a username and password.

It would be really helpful if TED supported these sites as the number of people using these sites is rapidly growing.

    Make a web interface

I know that many people like my self have DVRs or servers at home that have no monitor for an interface. This would be a great way for these people to use TED. I know this would take a lot of work, but I think a lot of people could use it.

    Add global feed list

This way each feed is only downloaded once per scan rather than spamming feeds with requests for every show separately. The downloaded feed can then be scanned locally for all the shows and filters on your list. Reduces traffic and load on feed sites.

download subtitles when they are avalaible

They are many RSS subtitles' feeds, would it be possible to make TED download them when they are avalaible ? I think they do have the same name format that the shows, so maybe it wouldn't be too hard to do ?

make it easy to submit a new show

When entering a custom show, make it easy to submit it to ted instead of requiring the user to go to the forums and request a show

allow manual ordering (up & down) of shows in the list

This would allow for custom grouping of shows (i.e. Shows which are currently off-season/hiatis or in an unknown state vs shows which are currently airing)

add bittorrent support to download torrents

I would like to an option to have TED be used to download the torrent/ show right in the client you could use libtorrent http://www.rasterbar.com/products/libtorrent/ to add support for torrent downloading

Show fetched torrents (as links) after the showname

I'd love to easily see which torrents have been downloaded since last time I checked TED.

I have a semi-automatic setup were I manually go to the TED torrent download folder to see which new torrents have been downloaded (I don't like the bittorrent client to open automatically at unexpected times while using the computer for other things). I then open the torrent, which opens my bittorrent client, and when done inputting it I delete the file from the TED download folder. Then it is easy for me to spot which torrents are NEW since last time.

With the downloaded torrents listed behind each show, it would be a lot easier. It would be perfect(!) if I could click the torrent-link in the list (usually only one (:)), my bittorrent client opens - I start the download, and the link would be hidden from the show (or moved to the previously downloaded torrents list).

So, one list would show previously downloaded torrents, maybe even only when expanded? The other list would show new (unprocessed) torrents. Maybe the lists show a maximum of X torrents, but by expanding the list a popup could show all the relevant torrents.

allow searching of torrent sites along with RSS

RSS is great, but a lot of torrent sites don't support it. If it's possible, ted could also use the torrent sites actual search feature. This would allow for more support for more sites.

Put your own torrent sites in for default look-ups.

Make it so you can put your own favorite torrent sites for the default look up. Also make it unlimited.

be able to split up full season torrents

There are many torrents that contain all of the episodes of a season in one torrent. It would be nice to be able to use those torrents, but search and download the individual episodes inside. Seems like this would greatly increase the availability of the episodes.

    Make the log searchable

The log is a dense flow of information, but if you want to find anything there, you need to scroll like crazy or copy the entire text. If you could make the log searchable by having a search window or something like that, it would be fantastic

Check of Show was actually downloaded

If the torrent download was integrated into TED this would be simple. But for now, the torrent is handed off to a client. The client does not always complete the download. I have my client set to copy the torrent to a specific directory once the file is completed; TED could watch this directory and if the show does not show completed after a specific amount of time after hand off to the client, the show is downloaded again.

I have also had shows download in foreign language and then had to go back to TED and select that one show to download again. TED then starts from that point froward and re-downloads all shows from that point forward. Would be great to pick individual shows and then new moving forward option.

Restrict TED downloads to specific time of day

It would be great if you could restrict TED to only request downloads start at specific times of the day. This feature would be great for those that only want high bandwidth usage while they are away. This may however be difficult as TED releases control to the client after the DL starts.

    Change some Default settings

Hey, I love the program and love where the developers are taking it but see some issues

    1) This one really is a MUST
-- Change the default minimum seeds for pre-defined shows down to at MOST 10 seeds! preferably more like 3!
---- Look at it this way, it might be slow but it ads you to the download queue faster and hense you will download the EP sooner AND, be able to seed for others faster!

    2) The default "Search for new episodes" time... searching every 10mins is insane for several reasons
    A) Its going make TED totally take over the users computer processor/memory every 10 mins to check for new EPs
    B) its going to suck up users bandwidth
    C) It really spams the Torrent sites you are generating feeds from - and I'm sure they are going to upset soon when more people start using TED

---I suggest changing 'minutes' to 'hours' and having the default every 12 hours. (You think about it, new shows come out daily... who really needs to check in mins?)

the seeder limit is there to prevent fake episodes from being downloaded. if we put it too low there is a huge chance ted will find a fake episode.
10 minutes per check might be too often. but once in 12 hours is way too large interval. you do want to check regularly if torrents have come available. We're implementing a smart scheduler that won't start searching until the episode actually aired.

Changer la version francaise (beaucoup de fautes)
    started

I'm a french user of TED and i realy like it, but with the french translated version of this program, there are lots of gramatical mistakes !
Is there a way to easily fix that ? Maybe i could do it ?

Yeah, the translations can be updated using the built in translate translator ;)

Have a last torrent used information in episode properties

If the last torrent you used was a bust, you should be able to go the show and see the information about the last torrent used for that show. Not the last attempt, but the last actually used. This is just a user friendly feature so that one can improve each episode result.

    work with ISOhunt...

If ted was able to work with directly, like ISOhunt, to download only files that had positive reviews... that would make this little program invaluable.
